突发！皇家空军上校汉森将成为首位环绕月球加拿大人

加拿大皇家空军上校兼 CF-18 飞行员汉森 (Jeremy Hansen，图) ，被选中成为第一个执行月球任务的加拿大人。
美国宇航局和加拿大航天局周一(3日)发布了期待已久的公告，介绍了四名执行Artemis II 任务的宇航员，其他3名宇航员都是美国人。
Artemis II 目前计划最早于 2024 年 11 月发射，这将是自1972年最后一次阿波罗发射以来首次载人登月任务。
加拿大目前的宇航员队伍只有4人，其中包括来自安省伦敦市47岁的汉森。
其中亦有来自蒙特利尔的天体物理学家和医生圣雅克(David Saint-Jacques)，他是4人中唯一已经到过太空的成员。
53岁的圣雅克于2009年与汉森一起被选宇航员队伍，并于2018年飞往国际太空站。
宇航员队伍还包括41岁来自阿省的空军中校Joshua Kutryk和34岁来自卡尔加里的机械工程师和剑桥大学讲师Jennifer Sidey-Gibbons。
加拿大创新部长 Francois-Philippe Champagne 周日在参观休斯敦约翰逊航天中心后鏳经表示，“这一次加拿大与我们的美国朋友一起写下历史，这甚至不是新的篇章。对我来说，这几乎就像一本太空探索的新书。”
