蒙特利尔市公共卫生部门称，蒙特利尔儿童的疫苗接种进度落后，正试图加强宣传改变状况。

它包含有关预约和确保儿童根据年龄接种疫苗的最新信息，以及有关百日咳、麻疹和小儿麻痹症的信息。
蒙特利尔据称只有 80% 至 85% 的五岁儿童接种了麻疹疫苗，而目标接种率为 95% 。当局称这样会导致有爆发风险。
新指南还消除了关于疫苗接种的常见误解，例如对某些成分的误解或认为疫苗与自闭症有关的观念。
当局强调疫苗是免费及安全有效，而且能够预防感染引起的严重并发症。
